WAYLAND'S PAST – SHOW AND TELL

Thursday,  April 26                                                                                                                                        7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Trinitarian Congregational Church

Many of you will no doubt be familiar with the TV series “Antiques Roadshow” where treasured family items are brought in and experts identify and evaluate them, often to the surprise and delight of the owners. While we can't promise to provide the same level of expertise, we are hoping that many of you will be moved to search your attic, basement and/or storeroom for unique objects that may be associated with the history and development of our town.  Come participate in an event cosponsored by the Wayland Historical Society and the Council on Aging, to contemplate and enjoy some of the treasured artifacts from your neighbors as well as from the Grout-Heard House Museum collection that reflect many intriguing events leading to the history and development of our town. There will be a display of articles that will open your eyes to the lifestyles of Wayland residents of long ago. Introducing these treasures will be Kate Jenney and Carol Repose of the WHS, and Julie Secord, COA Director. Come one, come all, and bring your goodies!!!  Refreshments will be served

IMPORTANT NOTE:  THIS EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED AND THE VENUE MOVED.  THE NEW DATE IS THURSDAY, APRIL 26TH.  THE PLACE IS THE TRINITARIAN CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH. THE TIME IS 7:00 – 9:00 PM
